What is Friends of WPS
The Wanaka Primary School PTA needs a steady stream of volunteer help throughout the year, but we know not everyone can come to meetings or join the committee. We also know there are lots of amazing parents who are happy to lend a hand when they can.
Friends of WPS is our pool of helpers. You register your interest and tell us what you’re good at, and we get in touch when something comes up that fits.
How it works
1. Sign up: Fill in the short form and tick the activities you’d be happy to hear about. It takes about 2 minutes
2. Get matched We’ll email you when a task matches your preferences. Not before.
3. Join in Reply yes or no. If you can help, brilliant. If you can’t, no problem at all.
Registering doesn’t commit you to anything. No meetings, no tie in, just an email every now and then.
